Last month was bad.. this month seems to be promising so far. The summer slump is coming to an end. |

DO NOT COUNT ON IT,,,,You NEED to tak a look at all the Credit Swaps, the deveritives, the Credit Default rate,,, EVERY Indicator IS WORSE than the were in July 08,,,Latest News,,,Some lenders are Loaning at LESS Than 4.00%,,,but 85% of ALL Loan APPLICATIONS are Being Rejected because of New Credit Guidelines,,There is ALOT GOING On and It is ALL BAD,,,Be VERY, VERY Careful,,,the 4thqt of 2010 is shaping up to be a DIASTER,,,
The Move here now in Stocks is to Find SOLID div Yeilds, Like CERTAIN Utilities

I bought appl at 275 currently averages around 310-320 and its expected to rise to 400. So thats one of my stock recommendations. As for day trading, I would highly recommend against it aspkin unless you really know what your doing. Stats have shown that 80%+ of day traders fail in the long run.

Most people will lose money Day Trading because of the transaction fees on each trade, because they're buying and selling many times in a day in favor of smaller stock movements so it's harder to see profit after the fees have been taken into account.
It's not wise to say stocks are worthless. If you look at it from the old strategy of buying stocks to hold onto then long term nothing beats stocks. Precious metals have higher transaction fees so to see a return after the value has increased above those transaction fees. Forex is extremely volatile, it makes more sense for day trading but it's no child's play, you need to have a strategy of how much you're prepared to go down and don't break it for anything.

not sure if oil, gas and coals stock count as day trading?
Last year I had massive jumps with GKP and XEL
3 for this year are WTI (weatherly int) ATC (atlantic coal) OPM (1pm)
WTI copper is due to explode later this year when production starts in their vast copper mines
ATC 200% jump in 2 weeks due to coal shortage
OPM 100% jump in a week due to billion m3 find of gas
ATC and OPM still very cheap 2p and 0.15p,

Research the stock you want and start with some steady ones that will teach you how to buy and sell. Expect to hold on to them for a bit. Once you master your stock platform, then you can try the faster stocks that you can flip in a day.
Keep in mind, as you learn, just invest money you can afford to look at fluctuating whether up or down. This way, you won't panic.

I buy in pharmaceuticals, which are pening a FDA approval. Had KERX 10k shares at .23cents sold at $3.00 HEB at .43 10k shares sold at $4.00, made quit a bit of money on just those two! Got into trading when the stock market crashed, now I chase pharmaceuticals that come out with a new drug and pending a FDA approval. I trade anything from $0.001 to $1.00 stocks.
