 Do the same rules apply for Etsy?
Hey guys,
I’m new here just joined yesterday, I’m so glad I stumbled apon this forum and the modern bible know as “EBay Steath” so a little about me, about a year and a half ago I was selling on Etsy and it was magnificent, I was making so much and things were going great. I got a few bad feedbacks and Etsy started limiting my privileges, I started selling so much to make up for faster shipping costs refunds I would sleep maybe two nights a week couldn’t keep up yada yada you’ve heard the story before. Account got closed along with my personal PayPal though some of the blame goes to PayPal for holding funds at times ( I work with commissions so the supplies needs to be bought so I can make the orders, I’m a sculptor so I sold casts of particular things mostly things from movies or items from Video games that I make realistic in my own interpretation). I tried other platforms like groups on Facebook but people are so cheap in those that I wasn’t even making a quarter of what I was before, tried eBay but my father had closed accounts with them, we live in the same house (I’m 19) same IP address and I had to use his PayPal (with permission of course) since mine **** the bed with Etsy so yeah I’m just surprised my eBay lasted as long as it did. My goal is to sell on Etsy again since I’ve learned so much more from my first go around and since ebay doesn’t have the platform for handmade, my question is: do the same rules aply to Etsy that I’ve read about eBay? It’s a much smaller entity so I’m assuming so, I just don’t want to Jump into it and do things wrong if they are different, thank you for bearing with my ignorance,
