The Journey Begins - M.A - 11 years of eBay loyalty - Indefinitely Restricted

Hey Aspkin Community and eBay hustlers.

This has to be one of the most hellish weeks of my life.

Quick introduction from myself guys, I was on eBay for 11 years, it was apart of my frequent use for a good portion of my life, it became my main source of income reselling sneakers and running shoes around 3 years ago. I was doing something that I thought could always be my foundation if all else fails but that ended up failing in the process and I had no back up plan at all and as some will say placed all my eggs in one basket.

I searched my issue online as soon as I did my last phone call to eBay customer service which they stated they cannot do anything as their policy department has given the ' final decision on the matter ' although the first customer service rep stated I did nothing wrong according to him looking over my account. The biggest thing that hurts me is that four people in my household has been indefinitely restricted from selling from eBay which doesn't help with my somewhat depressing and miserable situation.

I found the Aspkin community googling what else could be done and some faith has been restored and I have been reading material from past posts and getting the basic understanding on how to approach making this move as I have roughly a month before I run out of funds for the bills which I will stop thinking about while I take this information in properly.

I guess, this is the start of journey and I wanted to just let you guys know I was and I hope you can welcome me onto your journey as well as mine. I am considering taking the step in purchasing the eBay stealth guide and revising it religiously fairly soon.

If you have any advice or key threads that will help me or you wish someone would have shown you sooner or when you first joined. It would be extremely appreciated.

This, honestly, can be the best thing that ever happened to you when it comes to eBay. I know I started working even harder when I got banned and now I'm 2-3x more productive than I was.

Thank you all for giving me such insightful and warm welcoming replies. I feel like one of the members already. Extremely appreciate your response because the last paragraph shows me that I can do it and that's exactly how I feel, if I was given another chance on eBay, I would do alot more and take the productivity onto another level.

Thank you to everyone who has responded and it really is appreciated, I've just recently taken the steps to purchase the eBay Stealth guide so I should be on my way to understanding everything necessary to make more secure ways to do this.

Welcome! I would just add that you are lucky. Many people who come here when they are banned don't have ANY money for an emergency and ask questions like "how am I supposed to pay my rent, which is due next week?" and all we can do is tell them to try to get back on eBay and tough it out. At least you have a 30 day cushion!

You should not have a problem getting back on eBay. One of the most important things that you can do is to create SEVERAL new accounts - that way, if one of them goes down, you still have the others. Spread out your risk and you will never have to worry about this again.
