Hello,
I'm new here to this forum, and it looks like I am a little late for this thread. (bad luck again) I too have ATT Uverse and can verify that I have a Static IP even after being told by customer service that it is dynamic. Seems that ATT DSL which is what I had before ATT upgraded their system around here was dynamic, but since the upgrade, they are now using fiber optic and my speed has doubled for the same monthly price but I am now stuck with a staqtic IP. I am lucky enough to be able to use a friends personal data for a stealth account and can even use it for a new bank account. He will go to the bank and present his ID and I fund the account and take it over from there. He said its all mine. I have been playing around with some IP spoofing utilities and found some that actually work but have not found one that will let me choose my own location somewhere near where I actually live nor will they give me the option of keeping the same spoofed IP every time I log on. They need to have the option of setting up different profiles. Seems the IP spoofing utilities are geared more toward anonymity than what we are actually looking for. Does anyone have any suggestions other than the dialup option?
Thanks for any advise,
Tundra
