Granted, but when you are given a clear cut informative tutorial on how to solve and issue I dont see why spending an hour or two getting to grips with whatever the task is as being a bad thing..

You will get left behind if you're not willing to learn.

A) Tell the hotel to upgrade their damn internet.
B) Get a flashed Mifi from Ebay if Verizon signal coverage is good in your hotel.
