Default Auctiva & Suspended IP.

I have searched the threads and found an answer to this question but considering how often eBay changes things I just want to make sure the answer is still the same..

Is it safe to login and list items through Auctiva using a suspended ip address?

If Auctiva and eBay doesn't share information now it wouldn't surprise me if they eventually do.

I see that there has been 14 views on this thread, meaning I'm not the only one looking for the answer to this question.

Does anybody know for sure (to date) if eBay and Auctiva share information regarding suspended ip addresses.

Yes it is safe to list through Auctiva through any IP address.

Quick Note: When you generate or renew your Auctiva token be sure and use a clean IP.

I did sign up and generate my token with a clean IP. I figured that one.

Thanks, TheyGotMeToo. That's all I needed to know.

OK but: why why would anyone think of using the IP that has been associated with a suspended account?

It is recommended that anyone have 'new' info for a new account so why do this? Next time it will be I want to use an old email etc etc.... I would not use a suspended IP ever: that old me no longer exists so why possibly link

This is because I use dial-up to manage all of my stealth accounts, but I use broadband with a suspended ip for everything else.

I use my dial-up connection for creating and managing my many eBay and Paypal accounts (to use for myself and sell to others), for answering emails and logging into eBay and paypal, but I use my broadband connection for everything else I possibly can to save time.

Now that I am sure from the advice from this forum that I can list from Auctiva with my suspended IP to list items, I can save lots of time.

I have tried and succeeded to change my suspended broadband IP, but it changed back (twice) to the suspended IP by itself without me knowing. Once after a storm, and once after I moved my pc to another room, both resulting in Paypal limitations. So I purchased eBay Stealth and learned how to create multiple accounts with dial up and haven't even tried to change my broadband IP again since.

I have a network in my home of 7 PC's on one modem and 3 different wired routers and I always have a hard time getting the ip to change and whwn I do it always changes back eventually..

It is much easier to create / manage multiple accounts with dial-up but it is is too damn slow!!

This is why I wanted to know If I can list from Auctiva with a suspended IP. You See?

I will be getting mobile broadband next month though so it doesn't even matter.

Yes, you can, but also look into the possibility that maybe you didn't change the IP "comme il faut", cause this should not be happening - your old IP comming back.
I also use dial up and Auctiva, but I changed my suspended IP for added security. Besides, new safe broadband IP opens up possibility for yet another another Ebay account from different window user.
Also, after you change your IP, check it with IP Burger before signing into PP and Ebay accounts and you should be fine.

For the record, I do not recommend using a suspended IP near any new stealth ebay account. Hopefully you will be OK....if you new stealth account comes under ebay flags, that suspended IP could be a link.

Just get a smart phone, I use cable broadband on my adminisrator windows account and for my 10 other windows user/ebay/paypal accounts I use my blackberry as a dialup modem, the ip changes every time you sign in.
