Latitude can track an emails location. Hotmail and Yahoo give the same info too. So for some of us with far-off locals using these free email providers a company like ebay or amazon can see the disparities of origin. Please convince us otherwise stealth tech heads?

Google latitude has a way to set your location manually so that should not be that much of a problem. Other solution might be to not use the application at all.

Google knows when and where a gmail account was made. Yahoo and Hotmail gives up that info. Google allways protected it. Latitude gets that location but like you said its only for wireless connections, WiFi, Tmoble etc.. I'm limited on this tech stuff but I was worried about my wireless routers and for forum members with wireless internet connections. Thanks.
