Hi everyone. I was just wondering. If I got on the internet on my i-pad or cell phone at home or away from home to go on ebay would that link accounts together? It would use the same IP address at home if I log in? I'm confused on that. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

If your connected to your WiFi network it will use the same IP address but if your using your carriers internet then it won't.
Still trying to find out if each time you connect to eBay on a phone via carrier internet it changes the IP address each time to a different one... let me know if you find out :P

Hey Seanrules12! Thanks for the help. Now that makes common sense after you said that. I had to set my phone to Not receive the WiFi from home for it to not connect because it did at first. Checked the ip address and now its different..thanks!
Yeah, but does the IP address change each time you log in via your cell phone connection?? (NOT Wi-fi) - You could also drive around town and park outside of places that give you a Wi-fi signal and create accounts. The you're on your way to selling ebay accounts!!! One day everyone is going to suspend each other from eBay by using the same IP address or Call forwarding company. I'm going to get suspended on an account because my phone number was recycled from someone that owes eBay $7.
