how long does ebay keep your IP for

hello everybody
I was wondering how long ebay systems remember your ip? I save my ip into excel spreadsheet everytime before I log in. after half a year the spreadsheet is very massive. some of the accounts got blocked and I did not log in in a while. does anyone know for sure how long they store IP numbers? does it stay forever or expires after a few months?

Since Ebay has numerous resources including servers, once they have logged your information it stays in their system forever.

How else do you think they link you with a suspended account years after?

Mind you, it's not always JUST the IP which get's you linked: cookies, phone number, CC, name, address etc can get you linked as well.

yes that makes sense but wouldnt it also cause problems? IP numbers are changing everyday if you have dynamic IP from you ISP... it would give the same IP to various users over time I think

Linking takes more than just IP

Worry more about your cookies and flash cookies.

IP is important too, but they won't suspend you for that alone.
