How fast does your router restart?
Mine seems to take aaaages. Well I would say at least a minute from start to finish.
Anyone got a faster one? How long does yours take?
I usually load up some pages for reading before hitting reset cos I have so long to wait...!

A wonderful Tenda W311R - cheap as chips but you can change absolutely everything on it...providing you can read Chinese!

Fizzy, you are in China. How far do you really have to go to buy a couple more routers with some spare change...c'mon now. Ha

Yes I could get some more but it's kinda missing the point.
If I have more routers then that is more of a pain cos I then have to swap cables around, that's even more hassle.
I want to press a button and BANG 1 second later I have a new ip... is that so much to ask for!?

No need to restart the router completely. Just drop the connection (disconnect) and reconnect. Takes about 10 seconds to get a new IP.
