been reading the book and im a lil confused...... are ip adderss and mac adderss the same thing or are there 2 diff adders i need too change ....

No, they are not the same thing.

But: For eBay you need only concern yourself with the IP address.

if i change my ip adderss evry time i log on to my ebay accounts will that make my accounts more noticeable ... im useing iphone tethering

it's very confusing when we start to read about all these 'parts' to getting access to make our stealth accounts run OK.

As TGMT² advised mac & IP addresses are two different beasties.

AT this point 11/14/2012) it is fine for ebay/paypal to pay attention to just the IP address part.
(Big relief too).

When you make your account(s), you should be making user accounts that will have the cookies etc.
IPs can change when they are dynamic. That the meaning of dynamic, different IP.
Static IP means number stays the same.
Tethering your iphone is a really good way to use the internet & be stealth.
There should be little problems for the account even with different IPs.

What is currently loaded on your iphone? There are certain steps you can also take. They will further enhance being successfully stealth.
Seems like you are going well with your plans to become stealth
