hi, does anyone know how to change the ip address on a mac pc, sorry if this seems a silly question i am not very good on computers and i need to learn fast due to my recent ebay indefinite seller restrictions

Or will using a new dongle rather than my home internet give me a new ip address , thanks gemma

Yes it will. However bear in mind that some ISP's have much larger IP ranges that others so choose wisely.

There are many ways of changing an IP address if you are technically minded.

However your public IP address is assigned to your router not your computer

Your net modem...you turn it off and wait a bit before turning it on - should give new IP.

im with virgin for my home internet will that change its ip if i turn it off for a while ?
