You would reset your MODEM - sometimes the router is the same box as the modem....then your idea would work - if not, go to the source of the IP (modem), not just your router.

Go to IPBurger.com to check the IP address before your turn off the modem and after you turn it on. You should have a new IP if you wait a few minutes after making the modem off - IF you have dynamic IP provider.

Is Three totally unlimited or does it have a fair use policy?

personally I would use

Technitium MAC Address Changer v6 (FREEWARE)

Connect with Ethernet cable

and change the last two digits of the LAN mac so you have more control and a whole i.p range for each eby/pp you create

for example for 3 accounts I would use it like so
Account 1 change the last two digiits to A1
accounts 2 change the last two digits to B2
account 3 change the last two digits to C3

then you do not worry about i.p address at all as long as you have to correct mac for the account your going to use because it changes the full i.p range, its more like having 3 connections

even if you only use one account, its better than logging i.p addresses all the time with in the same I.P range, much safer to change mac

@stigger

Once you change the LanMac for the first time for each windows user do you never have to change anything again. So you can basically just log in and the account Is ready to use?

Three's "all you can eat data" and "the one plan" are totally unlimited.

You can tether on Three only if you are on the "one plan" contract with a mobile phone. You cannot tether with the sim-only "one plan" contract. They do not allow tethering on the pay as you go "all you can eat data" either. It may work for a few days, but then they will block your account if they find that you are tethering.
