How away should my ip address be??

Sorry if this is stupid question...

I'm a little confused with all this ip changing. So as long as the ip "numbers" change, it will do the job right? because my ips been changing but when i check on IPBurger or any tracker, it shows an area not far from my original home. most of the time near the same area where i live...

Your geo-location is not an issue if your 'ip numbers' change.

paypal/ebay look for user accounts/cookies. It is accepted for ISPs to supply internet access to their customers that for some reason may not be near the exact location.

This is rarely an issue. I have mentioned on the forum before that sometimes my ISP places me 700 miles from my actual address or the same suburb. Since the IP is dynamic there is no problem.

As you said, the numbers change so the job is being done.

If you need, make sure you log your IPs too.

Essentially - if numbers change you are fine. GB makes a good point to write down your IPs in the log...if excel is too much, simple notepad or wordpad will do.
