How to change MAC address?

Okay to make a stealth paypal I must change MAC address on my router to get a new IP address right? Can I just change the IP address? Or does MAC address need to be changed as well?

I have Verizon fios and i went to this screen under advanced settings , It allows me to change the number myself.. Do i just change the last two numbers? If i click on click clone my mac address it also changes it to a different number.

Or how exactly do i do this? Is there a program that would make it easier? Or is this easiest? I looked around and couldnt find answer. Thanks for the help

Try reading thro' ebay tracking & IP address where I moved your thread.

If your IP is dynamic, then that can be OK to use for a new paypal.

You are on the right track with your Verizon fios moves.

Going to depend onhow many accounts you might make

Yes its dynamic, but still havent found the answer. Anyone know how to change it in that menu?

Seems like your on the right direction, rather than clone MAC just change the last 2 digits which could be two numbers or a number and a letter

Keep a log of everything , after you change the MAC address sot routers will have an APPLY BUTTON , I first hit reset on the modem and than as soon as I hit reset I click apply , and than when the modem and router both reset check the IP it should be changed

Found this on another forum, This will change your mac address for those that dont know how to do it manually , Thought i'd share on the forum for everyone
