Default companies that dont allow tether

Wondering how to tether off a phone if the carrier doesn't allow it other than rooting the phone. any helpful info appreciated or u can pm me

Yes I understand this could lead to termination of services. But it wouldn't be used for streaming ofcourse just regular basics.

None "officially" promote or will say they allow for tethering, you either Root your phone or Pay the Service Provider for this service. Never heard of a company cutting off a customer because they tether....they could care less what you do, it's not like your going to call them and tell them! lol.

Just root your device and start tethering....Time is money.

Yes but some companies don't even offer the option to pay for it and receive it.
I was asking any other way to do it other than rooting tho?

Haha no, I youtubed it and looked so confusing. But I didn't really pay attention. I had heard there are some apps out there for it that's why I was asking becaused seemed easier than rooting...

There are plenty of tools and apps that will root "most" devices to work.

No tools needed, just the right phones. Any Android phone imported usually has the option and many phones running stock Android will have it.

Ex. Unlocked Motorola X, G, and E. Picked up an E, works great.

Also have a Samsung Galaxy Ace. There were many versions of this phone not sold in the states but have all of our GSM bands built-in. You can pick phones up like this for under $200 and they can tether for free.

Or there is one someone mentioned here a while back for a lifetime fee of 4.99 or so you can tether through their app.

Cannot remember the name.

If you cant root the phone or too afraid to do it.

Look into programs that will let you tether without rooting. They usually work via the USB. One such program is easy tether. The program is 7.99 or 8.99 for the pro version. The free version is will not let you log into secured web sites (https) like Ebay or Amazon. Download 1 or 2 small files and you're set. Its one of the methods I use to tether.
