mac address

So I bought the eBay Stealth and I am stuck on the ip address. My provider is frontier and I have a netgear router. When I try finding the mac address in the router setup it's nowhere to be found! I am so stumped :(

Hi,
don't know your provider nor the router but, do you know if you are under dynamic IP or if you have a Static IP?
MAC Address is not that important if you have dynamics IPs from your ISP.

You need to be more specific with the model # of your Netgear Router. The MAC address should be somewhere in the router's setup.

Your frontier modem is separate from your router, right?

When you turn off the Frontier modem - wait awhile and then turn it back on, do you get a new IP?

The netgear model number is B90-755044-15 My provider is frontier! But when I go to my routers setup page I can see the mac address but there is no way to change it! But I've realized whenever I just unplug the modem I check on IPBurger and my ip changes? Does that mean I still need to change my mac address?

yes when I unplug my modem, wait, turn it back on I check my IP address on IPBurger and it changes. Does that mean I have to change my MAC address?

Right, as mentioned in the stealth guide MAC address is NOT an issue when it comes to eBay and PayPal. As long as you're able to change your IP address you're good to go. Add your eBook password here: eBay Suspension & Paypal Limited Forums

Since the IP is dynamic, you can and should bypass MAC address change.

I am saying this because it's one less step for you to worry about doing.

Make sure you run IPBurger ( made by aspkin) before using accounts.

Im getting really confused about this IP thing. I know you must change the IP address of the router (the one that shoes up on IP burger), but must you also change the internal IP address on your computer?

From my experience, i was never able change my ip on a modem/router combo. You are probably experiencing the same issue.

You need to use a modem only and attach a router. Contact them for a list of compatible modems and go out and pick one up. Call them back up and tell them you have your own modem you would like to use. It shouldn't be a issue adding a modem.
