Matter of time?

Had a stealth account for about a month now. so far so good.

i was just thinking, people on here advise that we note our ip addresses because upon resetting the router you can get the same ip address as a previous stealth account.

But eventually wont you get an ip address of your first banned account (of course you didn't note your ip addresses back then)

The chances of that are remote.
Even if its only the last 2 numbers that are changing youre looking at 256 X 256 options - thats over 65000 different addresses.

Yes it is.

Anyone who tethers or doesn't have a static would know they repeat. Certain methods may mean the IP repeats more often than others ways but regardless of the "odds" they do repeat.

I live in a very populated city and it repeats *i'm using a iphone to tether*

Good stealth is to record your IP's....it takes less than a minute to do it.

I use a few 3 mobile broadband dongles and yes i have had the FULL ip repeat itself a number over times which is why it is good to track Ip's

I understand that, but i mean wont you eventually hit some ip addresses you used on your very first legit Ebay account? just curious

It's very unlikely, but if your worried about it and dont want to have to always note your ips then can get a VPN or VPS

sure and also other peoples ebay accounts as well.
3g will have many many many less repeats.
4G it can happen daily.
