Smile New Seller Limit - Can I open another Ebay Account and Get around them?

So I have a new Seller account that I maxed out the Seller limit in the first week. 10 items sold $500 limit...

I have read a bunch of other posts but I can not find anyone talking about if would be okay to open a second account and sell the same stuff to get around the first seller limit?

Also I did read that it may not be good to max out the seller limit so fast???

This is all on a brand new acct opened in NOV 2010 so all the new rules for sellers are in place.

Suggestions????

Open a few new accounts if you can! Don't use the same IP or any info tho!

Of course it's good to spread sales across different accounts - various posts on that.

Welcome to the forums - search option is a solid route =)

All the best.

The limit seems to be on every new eBay account now and the only way around is to spread sales

Opening one or two additional accounts is acceptable, but ten is simply abusing the privledge and eBay won't like that.

Make sure it's not connected to your first account - ebay will not like that.

Keep all accounts separate, that is the safest way.

So if Im hearing this right, if you want to work around selling limits with the minimum in bank and CC verifications, you could create 5 stealth accounts on paypal, unlinked, and then create 10 ebay accounts and attach 2 to each paypal account? Obviously the two EBAY accounts linked to the same paypal account would need to have the same information.

As long as you dont go crazy selling is this something EBay allows? Two accounts, exact same info attached to the same paypal account?

Downside is if one paypal goes down, or one ebay account, you just lost a paypal and 2 ebay accts.

You need to learn how to create several stealth accounts and get them all selling to get around the limits.

Might start at 10 items but 10 accounts is 100 items.

Need to sell more do more accounts to meet your needs.

There sure is BG.

If someone does not understand the simple IP issue then they have a long road ahead and need to spend far more time reading and learning.

Question SANDY D

If you list the same items on diff. accounts, can you use the same templates or photos?? I'm assuming not right??

Clear me this please, thanks!

You CAN, technically, but it's suggested that you don't. It's rare that they will see the encryption on your photos (unless very seriously looking into your accounts). Either way, though, with stealth accounts, you want to be 100% safe on everything you do. search for photo cleaners on this forum. You'll find plenty of talk about this.
