I also use Excel and to change my Ip I change my Mac address, but for some reason I can never get the same IP again once I switch my mac. Even if I change it and wait 10 minutes and go back to previous Mac, it is still different. How do you get the same IP back?

That thread still doesn't make me keep the same ip. I guess it all depends on your ISP.

I posted in this thread because Junkymail had said how to keep the same ip a few posts up.:typing:

I tried changing it, and changing it back like the posts say but I still get a different ip whenever I go back to the original mac.

From what I gather, you manually reset the IP numbers. Is that your missing link?

How would I manually reset the Ip numbers?

I guess it's not that big of deal, I will just continue to have to have a different ip every time I switch accounts. It is weird though that others are able to get the same ip back.

This holds the same IP address for each MAC for quite some time. I have on going on the same IP for a month and a half.

I do also have different IP not always same I tried this and for excel sheet I always take a snap shot of the filled registeration form both ebay and paypal and keep it linked in my excel sheet :)
