Is this for a new ebay/paypal account? Are you adding the card so the paypal can be
verified?

Default multiple accounts with the same name?

Is it a bad ideal to have a few account all with the same name? I have a few accounts all in my name with different addresses, banks and credit cards i have had no problems yet am i the only one that does this?

It has been said that using the same password can get you, so the same user name should be even more dangerous.

U can have several accounts all sharing the same info, there is no Ebay rule against this... and as long as you don't fall foul of Ebay at any point (which you invariably will) they will sail along nicely... problem arises when one of your accounts runs into any trouble... you'll have the bots on your arse lookin for any identicle info..

It's risky but it won't link you unless you're selling the exact same items and someone is trying to link your accounts together. Risky..

Arrow .. Stealth-running Multiple Accts-on Broadband-not Getting Linked!!!!

RUNNING MULTIPLE ACCTS-ON BROADBAND-NOT GETTING LINKED!!!!

HI:

OK< If this is SIMPLE for ME...Then I KNOW it will be SIMPLE for you!!!
a.) I have been Experimenting with several accounts--some I have ACTUALLY TRIED to get suspended--but failed )

b.) IN Windows XP-- Go to Control Panel--Users- CREATE say 3 new users--
1.) JOhn-1
2.) JOhn-2
3.) John-3

c.) Now-using AOL--BROADBAND---HIGHSPEED (You are using your own carrier--so you can get the FREE aol _
Go in as a GUEST,,EVERYTIME..(You can get a Free AOL Disk at Circuit City or Walmart or Staples)--
INSTALL AOL 9.0,9.1 etc.

**WHEN Loggin into AOL--make note of your IP Address..
**NOW--TRICK**

>>For those that need to run more than maybe 1 or 2 accts-- BUY the AOL , Membership--
NOW- log in and under each user name you create on your paid aol acct---(you can get 7 per membership)--
**Each one gives you a slightly diff IP,
>>SOMETIMES-- I have to log in several times, to get that :"same ip".. I make note of it!!

c-1)--ANOTHER TRICK--for the More ADvanced!!!______ (The reason to disable IE-is that with both going--it really hangs + you get a disconnect after about 10 mins on line--when disabled, it allows you to stay on!)

Disable your IE Connection- by right clicking on the little pc at bottom of task bar,
Now- go into aol, and choose dial up-- create several dial up locations--
>>> Lets say your are in New York City-- If you choose Colorado, phone number--you will get a NEW IP!!!
>> USe this or a similar situation to accomodate your needs!!!!
**When done, log off that user id, log back on, now ENABLE that IE icon, and you are back to Broadband---REMEMBEr to use CCLEANER in between everything!!!

OH, and there is also a Security/settings in AOL--at top- use this to clear cookies within AOL!!!!!
d.) NOW- Download CCLEANER, at www dot ccleaner dot com

e.) USE CCLEANER IN BETWEEN EVERY SINGLE CONNECT!!!! AS WELL AS WHEN YOU SWITCH USERS!!!

f.) NOw- Lets say I want to log into JOHN1--I will use CCLEANER, then go into JOHN 1,
Once inside the JOHN1, use ccleaner again, then log into ebay
g.) Now- go to JOhn 2 + 3 --same way

**I HAVE NOT BEEN LINKED WITH THIS METHOD!!!
**To make it easier-- lets say your ebay id is: JOHNscandy--then make your user name the SAME--so you wont get confused!!
>>>REMEMBER--EVERYTHING FROM THIS "PERSON" must be done within this PERSONS USER PANEL.....

Good Luck !

First read http://www.aspkin.com/forums/ebay-su...step-step.html
Delete cookies, make sure the IP is not the same, you are using dial-up so I would say your safe, and don't use any info. you used to set up the account that got suspended. Get eBay Stealth EBook, it will save you time and will help you get going without a lot of trouble.

Huh? I thought you can simply use one single dial up account from the same location to open up multiple accounts?

The different address - even if it's just a different number should work - how does ebay or paypal know that's not an apartment complex with 4 or 5 hundred different units? I don't think this would set off immediate red flags - that number would be run automatically against a database of other addresses and as long as the number is different it shouldn't hit - maybe also try slightly varying the spelling of the street name if it is a well-known street in your area.

Default I got a dynamic IP, what is next..?

Hi all guys..

I am in Australia, with the ISP bigpond on ADSL2+.. My IP was Static IP before, but I have no idea when i reboot the wireless router, the IP was changed. Reboot it again, changed again..

It looks like I can get a different IP whenever I want..:D

I have not login my ebay use my computer right now, even I reinstalled my system. Because I am worried about the MAC address can be recorded by ebay. I only login paypal used VMware to create a virtual system..

So what should I pay more attentions to? if after I got a dynamic IP..

I use Check and Map your Current IP address. to check my IP..

Thank you

Edison, that bigpond ADSL2 set up is excellent because of the speeds. (apart from being bigpond). OK, with it, your IP will always change, yes. No need to worry at this point that the MAC address will be traced by ebay. Provided you do the usual clear cookies, run ccleaner etc, you will be OK. Two points though. Start an excel file of everything you do or if you are not computer literate use stickies. In other words have a log and note your IP.
Also try IP Burger - What is my IP Address? Find Your IP Address! .On aspkin's recommendation I switched to that for my OZ accounts. Functions very well.

You answered the question yourself in your original post.

"KNOW THE IP ADDRESS CHANGE EVERYTIME ITS RECONNECT, THAT'S MEAN I HAVE DIFFERENT IP ADRESS TO LOG INTO DIFF EBAY/PAYPAL ACCOUNT RIGHT??"

But to clarify...I am not in good standing - I am actually starting over.
I am trying to set up my new accounts and I want to have at least one real address. And like I said earlier, I already have this UPS box through the end of the year, so I hate to waste it. I would think it would be considered a new and different address just by changing the box number, but I wanted to be sure. I guess I'll just give it a shot and hope for the best!
Did you ever try this out?? Please post if you did.
