Shaf, as a rule, you need to have 1 ebay account per paypal account. Now ebay are requring you to link a verified paypal account to your ebay account before selling, so paypal account will drop as fast as ebay accounts now.

See my topic on "proven method for opening up ebay account in the UK" in the ebay discussion forum. Gives details on how to open up multiple accounts and the risks associated with each.

Any more Q's post up or feel free to shoot me over a PM.

Have you tried RBS. That allows several accounts.

Default Managing your mutltiple Ebay Accounts

I'm really considering hitting up a few coffee shops around the area to make a few accounts, but what about the accounts I make that need constant attention?

I know i can do basic things in Auctiva, and I can answer emails through my gmail account (just don't hit the yellow button right?), but I'm worried about things like printing labels, marking items payed from money orders, things that I do daily.

Is my only solution to have some extra IPs given to me by my ISP? And obviously a few routers to take advantage of that. I was told my ISP may charge a lot of extra IPSs

dialup. as you will need to occasionally log into those accounts to answer questions and other crap. then just log into different dialup numbers all over your city, or in nearby cities. but always connect to the same ones that you made the accounts with

Just ensure that your ISP provides dynamic IP addresses - this means a new IP address would be genereated everytime you restart you router.

ok, thanks guys, have just filled out appliation form for a 2nd account.
(and will try to get more accounts in a few weeks...)

do you think ebay or paypal are able to link the accounts because the have all the same sort code ?
(and maybe other things similar, e.g. SIMILAR (not the same) ip & cc)

No. sort code are not a problem. Provided every account number is different all
should be OK. IP is not a problem. Whatever IP you use will also be used by
others. And as of 3/14 ebay was not objecting to this. LOL. Provided you have
done every step according to aspkin's guide you should be OK.
(Unless there are other forces that will give you trouble.)

Default identify linked accounts ?

has anyone already figured out a method to identify which of my ebay accounts may be linked on ebay ?
(without getting suspended of course...)

i mean i occasionally mix up my passwords or cc numbers or email addresses, and some of the items i sell on different accounts are the same or similar. so i just wanna make sure the accounts are all still separate.

i do always check ips & delete cookies.

My best advice is to never link accounts. Keep everything apart and never link. Why? I hear you groan: if you link, get a suspension, they all fall down.

To overcome this you can run a log in excel with all your information and I mean all your info. Keep a log of IPs, passwords, email addresses. EVERYTHING. Never come home after the match of the day slightly p****ed and sign in to ebay. Then you make mistakes. If you are not up to excel, then
the card box (can't think of the word) with the same.

I memorize as well. But now I also keep records. If you have sleepers, you forget
info and.... we know the rest.

xxxxluv, thanks for the right word & stickys! I love multi-colored stickys. LOL.

this might sound a bit stupid of me but why does anyone need to have so many computers, doesnt just turning off the modem for a minute change your ip address? or is there another reason for having more than 1 pc.
