Possible using same Thunderbird in every different Windows User Acc?

I have installed Thunderbird in my "main" windows user account. When I log into any other windows user account, what I do is to look for Thunderbird on "Program Files" folder and open it up, but it is all empty with no mails atttached or anything. Is there a way to make it show everything as it does on my main windows user account form which I have been using it?.

Or you have to enter all the emails and passwords again on each windows user account you want to use it from?. any way around this?.

These are cookies and you don't want them as they will link your accounts.

You can get linked by opening Thunderbird in another windows user account, you mean?.

I came across this same incident last week. I do think that you would have to log all of the emails and passwords again. To save the trouble I just only check them on my main windows account not on any other account. Hope that helps a little.

I use the portable version of thunderbird and have not had any problems for a number of years.

I prefer the portable version because everything is there in one folder - easy to backup, move etc.

Do you know if you can answer a question from a ebay buyer clicking on reply button in Thunderbird or thats not possible or would create link?.

I reply to the message in thunderbird and it is fine to do I read it some where else I the forum a while back.

Why not keep simple and respond to the question when logged into eb?

I'm not always on that eb account and I know people want replies fast. So this is the way I do it. I used to have all of my emails on my phone but that became overwhelming so put them all on thunderbird.

Been trying to reply to messages using Thunderbird, not eBay messages, just from other regular gmail accounts and it gives me an error saying "the info to log into smtp.gmail.com is incorrect, sending message failed using output server smtp.gmail.com for unknown reason. Verify output server settings are correct and try again". And right after that I received a mail from Gmail saying they(Gmail) stopped a logging into my Google account by someone else using an application that doesn´t meet modern security standards

So it seems that Gmail doesn´t allow me to use Thunderbird to reply messages?. I can see all messages from my email accounts with no problem on Thunderbird though.

Anyone knows how to solve it?. Been looking into settings, cant figure it out. Output server choices are either Gmail or "default" which is?.

I have had problems for years with ebay messages Not being sent to my email account.
I always log in to ebay now to check my messages and at least once a week,
there is a message from a buyer that was not sent to my personal email account.
I don't trust ebay to get the messages to me anymore.
