I am new to google checkout for selling stuff. How do you physically get your money? Do they bank transfer, send check? Any wait time before you can "cash out"? I guess I could just sign up and see, but they really do not explain it well and would like to know what I an getting into.

Hi
Thanks for the reply,i will try that.
Are you sending invoices manually after the auction ends?
Did you check the merchant account box and have to fax Ebay?

They initiated a deposit to my bank automatically when I charged the buyers card and shipped, beforehand they have you do a verification similar to paypal with a small deposit...usually shows up in 3-4 days after charging the card...I haven't used it alot, but it just withdrew it for me...

HI, Mys:
Theres several sections on integrating google checkout, Modee wrote some very good articles.
If u go to the right hand side top--"search"--drop down, and search for google checkout- it will pull up alot..
+++ on the main page-about 1/2 way down- u will see merchant acct/alternatives..

Thanks "KilledbyEbay"...This answered one of my posts.

I am curious, how do you get around Ebay's new requirement for high risk items like consumer electronics. It seems, EBay requires a "safe" payment method, for which they do not like "Google checkout."

Ballsack,

Yes Google checkout will want social security numbers or Tax ID to increase your monthly withdraw limit above $500 per month.

Likewise, if you sell $10,000, and want to withdraw more than $500, they want to to verify who you are.

G.Checkout has a No No list and if u sell sumthing on this list and buyers are bitching about it google will suppened your account and refund any money that has been yet paid out so when useing google its a good idea to wait till your paid before shipping the stuff!

Default 0-3 on Google Checkout

Just started using Google checkout for the first time.
I am using it on a new account.
3 stiffs in a row, wtf! Sent each one a manual invoice at the end of the auction, and then at least 4 emails after asking them why they have not paid or responded.
Then each time i went back into Ebay and sent a mail from Ebay, still nada.
I invoice myself a copy each time so i know they are getting the invoices.
Now what? (Suckpal again)?

ebayhateluv, I've found if they can't be budged, they often just don't pay and then they cause problems, then get their strike removed.

The first time you invoice them just send like 6 to 8 GCO invoices to their email. lol. Google makes it real easy to do this. Psychologically ppl will sometimes feel a sense of urgency when they see that many emails. When you post one sometimes they'll put it off for whatever reason. Trust me you'll get a response from the buyer. lol

Seems like a good idea sending 6-8 invoices from Google to each person.
I sent 3 last night and will send 3 more today on an auction that ended last night.
Got nothing to lose, since most are not even replying back.
I am putting in the invoice that my customers are having trouble receiving the invoice from google checkout,so I am sending it multiple times to make sure you get it.
And I ask them to respond once they receive it.
We will see.(holding breath):D

Default Google CheckOut Shipping/Payment Do's and Dont's

An Admin from this Forum suggested that i post this question as it may be informative to some users here who are in the process of opening a Google Merchant Account.

After you receive payment through GCO do you have to ship the item and provide the tracking # 1st before your payed?
