Default CCnow Merchant Documents

eBay keeps rejecting my ccnow documents. My account is totally legit but they keep saying that ccnow is not under the definition of a merchant processor. Has anyone had this experience? Has anyone successfully sent in their ccnow doc's? Please share your experiences and help me out.

Surely, sooner or later ebay will stop allowing CCNOW payments, or through CCNOW paypal anyway? It's just another way people are avoiding using their own paypal account.

If I had a lot of money, I'd open up a business like CCNOW so there's a second one.

Chris Hansen posted a copy of CCNow documents that can be altered and sent in to EBAY. The problem is finding them in these posts. Maybe soomeone can help us out here.

I am in the same boat as you guys, and have spent the last hour looking for an answer

i am sending my same documents in and they are getting rejected. ebayhateluv have you tried faxing a document recently?

the problem is that eBay states that Ccnow is NOT a merchant account. Has anyone heard of this?

HI: I did it in Nov and Dec. havent had to do it recently.. I would get a copy of the CCNOW Charter--their Proforma on their website, fax that also.. THEY are a Merchant acct alternative.. Ebays trying to push pp--thats all..
--u can use google ckout-but ebay doesnt like that-then you would have to send customers manual invoices, unless u use car tmanager like modee suggests

FYI-- I just did a google for this

ccnow history parent company

>> Now look who it brings up as 1st hit?? PAYPAL..
I have always wondered how ccnow takes in thousands of pp pyts/day without limitations?? Maybe they are owned/linked somehow??

nah i don't think they are linked at all...the guys at ccnow seem to always have issues with dealing with Paypal when it comes to resolving disputes. if they were partners it would be alot easier for them to settle issues.

i have merchantinc, and i faxed my statement in and wally told me he needs more statements. it was all of the history i had for that account. i don't think i will faxing to him again. the next time they will probably suspend my account instead of replying to me. so i just put in my auctions that i accept visa and mastercard. i then send the auctiva invoice with the visa and mastercard link to my shopping cart. it is working out pretty good. it would be nice to have the ebay checkout linked too, but oh well.

That's pretty cool. So technically if you also are accepting gaypal then all faxing stuff to wally does is lets you integrate checkout. Hmmm. Was it in fact Wally that was being the pain about things and not somebody else?

ebaykilla, how long has it been? I think Wally is way behind, it could take a couple weeks for a response.

its been a few days since the last email.....but you say going to be weeks?? these clowns are idiots! i dont have time to BS with them...time is money. i dont get to list...they dont get paid..PERIOD.

the first response from them came within hours of sending my fax #1:

Dear ******,

Thank you for submitting your merchant processing statement to eBay.

I have completed our review, but the information provided does not
indicate that "CCNow" is a merchant credit card processor. To list items
on eBay, please provide the following:

- a complete copy of your most recent merchant processing statement: do
not omit any pages

Fax this information to (408) 904-7387.

2 Hours after fax #2 and a follow up email by me:

Dear ****,

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to your account.

As stated previously, "CCNow" does not meet the definition of a merchant
credit card processor. As such, we cannot accept the information you
have provided about your account with "CCNow" as proof that you have a
valid merchant processing account. To list items on eBay, you will need
to provide the following:

- a complete copy of your most recent merchant processing statement: do
not omit any pages

Fax this information to (408) 904-7387.

I then sent my friend's merchant documenst with another vendor. It has been about 4 days and no resppnse at all.

FYI--They have changed up again.. ok, what they are looking for is just "A" statement from a merchant acct--- black out with marker, the acct number..

jonas, it was wally, and he said he needed more statements. i only had the one, and i sent it to him. i'm not wasting any more time with him.

ebaykilla, it took wally 12 days to get back to me, and it was a waste of time for me. i didn't get approved. he said he needs more info. i think ebayhateluv means you should black out your merchant account number on the statement you fax in.

jerry0202, yes it only works for one id, and a lot of merchant accounts only work with one id. that's why you need multiples for auctiva and a merchant account. or use a mercahnt account that lets you use it for multiple ebay accounts.
