I had a personal paypal account under my information a while ago. The account went negative $625 when someone did a charge back from a FF payment for a virtual video game account through their bank. There was nothing PP could do they said. A paypal rep suggested I open a business account and that they didn't see a problem with it. I did that and went 2 years with no issues. The same issue occurred were my account went negative due to a crap chargeback ruling on PP behalf.
So in the meantime of all that my wife opened up a PP account for our wedding. There were no issues with this so eventually after my second account got locked I started using it. I didn't have any issues since October 2017 but eventually they banned it tonight. They stated that there were too many things that were the same between the accounts and that the matrixes they used matched too many things. I'm guessing it was because I would call from my phone number and input hers. Plus, our voices sound nothing alike so they probably know I'm the one calling.
So here are my following questions:
1.) Can paypal withdraw the balance owed from the previous two accounts from the bank information linked to the most recent account that was banned?
2.) Is there a way to speed up the 180 days?
3.) Can a friend request a refund from a FF payment that might put me negative?
4.) If that refund is granted will paypal then try to get the money from my bank account?
Thanks,
Corbie | 1. Each paypal has to have its own bank attached to withdraw. You could try to explain your situation to paypal, and they may allow you to add the banks to all accounts, but this is unlikely.
2. Yes there is, you can try to send an email like this: https://www.auctioncope.com/guide/ho...fore-180-days/
Doesnt work all the time, worked 2/4 times that I've tried, but still worth the try. Got my money in 90 days.
3. Yes he could
4. Im unsure about this, as paypal seems to pull money from the bank for ebay orders and fees but FF is different. Are you planning on your friend getting a refund and pay you directly?
