Default Who agrees with me

Deciding whether to restore your account depends only on the person who is reviewing your account. Do you agree with me?


Over the couple past of years I noticed there is no standard way of analysing and reviewing limited accounts. I can see that each PayPal agent has his/her way method to assess the account. Some agents conduct very severe and through review while others will just take a decision in a matter of a minute.


what are your thoughts?

Of course it depends on the person reviewing your account. Forum members say all the time to "just call back and get another rep" if it's not going well.

Some people are more devoted to their job than others.

Trying another time to call not always a good choice. I had very embarrassing incident one time when I tried to call another rep and she told me the previous agent you spoke to is sitting next to me! You are just trying to play around
that was very awkward

Really depends on the limitation

Sometimes no matter who reviews the account it will remain limited

There is some truth though that one rep will remove a limitation while another will not. Its very hit and miss when it comes to reps and there is a massive inconsistency

Lol!

You shouldn't really call back the same day... give it a day or two before calling back. More awkward if you end up speaking to the same guy..

I've found some of the front line reps may not have the power to remove limitations/suspention, or certain account related matters such as feedback removal. They will usually transfer the call to another department for those things. Yes, some reps are definitely more "effective" than others. Usually I've had better luck with the lady reps as opposed to guys. The after hours call center in the Philippines or India is usually a bit more ridgid in their handing of other types of cases, so I tend to opt to call during US business hours on a weekday.

thats funny i find the american reps to be way stricter and assholes

I kinda agree, US reps are prone to ask more questions or want to do Database questions and so on....I had one rep even lower my selling limits.

So you mean to say you guys call in for serious limitations like when they throw the whole docs guantlet at you asking for ID, SSN, UTILITY BILLS, SUPPLIER INVOICES, TRACKING INFORMATION + more?
I tried once talked to a rep got transferred to the limitation department and the american guy didnt even entertain the thought. He said there was no way to remove a limitation without providing the requested docs.
