Adding a new telphone number

If I add a new telephone number to my USA Paypal account how long until I can receive text messages/calls for security checks? Thanks in advance to all the guy with experience with this

Unless things have changed recently, it'll take a few months.

But even when it does show up you run the risk of Paypal saying "this number doesn't appear to be registered in your name", so, good luck.

Never unless it's actually registered in the Paypal account holders name and address, then 24 hours usually.

The phone verification crap is so glitchy. I'm leaning more towatrds Pazhor.

I'd say give it 2-4 weeks. I heard some people had to wait for 90 days.
