Just wondering if anyone has put together a comprehensive list of the triggers that make Paypal limit your account. I assume the system is run 98% by bots and that there aren't human beings looking at every account for what they consider suspicious deposit amounts, withdrawl amounts, selling velocity etc. Am I Right?
I know there are scattered threads on specific situations and I know if I had a few days I could find them all but I was hoping there was a compiled list of what triggers the 21-day hold, what triggers limitation without warning. Stuff like that.
I have the Stealth Book but find it somewhat generic.
Anyone?
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
If it was so cut and dry it would be easy to come up with a list of what specifically gets an account limited.. but its not that easy.
Really there are a few guidelines of what triggers a limitation which is in eBay Stealth and then there are the specific dollar amounts which no one knows for sure. Follow the guidelines in eBay Stealth and you'll fair a lot better then nitpicking at things.
I remember seeing a list on another site that was pretty comprehensive, but the final statement was a disclaimer like the one aspkin gave above.
Basically, if it seems suspicious, it will probably trigger a limitation. Such as receiving funds and then suddenly trying to do something with them, or suddenly changing lots of account information.
The list would include every item sold on eBay. Seller 1 could sell a product everyday and be fine. Seller 2 could sell the same product and get hit with high risk or limitation. The only thing you can do is sell slowly first and built up a lil reputation first.
