Default 180 days have passed

Hi,
I have a paypal stealth account which was link to an Ebay account.
After a fews months, they asked me documents and invoice or my account will be limited, i send them all (stealth) and my account was banned during 180 days.
The delay passed and i have no news from them,
"If your account has been limited for over 180 days and you haven’t received an email to withdraw your balance, that would mean the balance cannot be withdrawn at this time. If this changes, we will send an update via email. Regrettably we would be unable to provide any additional details, and hope you have a good day"
PS: i was just dropshipping and didn't sell strange things/crypto/digital products

I certainly understand your concern. However, as informed before, once the funds are available for withdrawal, then you'll receive an email. I understand that this can be frustrating and I apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks for your patience and understanding

We’re following up on your complaint regarding your experience using PayPal. At PayPal we treat expressions of dissatisfaction from our customers as complaints.

We trust the actions we’ve taken have addressed your complaint to your satisfaction and that you’ve accepted the outcome.

2

If you’re dissatisfied with how we addressed your complaint, you have the right to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service, free of charge – but you must do so within six months of the date of this letter. If you do not refer your complaint in time, the Ombudsman will not have our permission to consider your complaint and so will only be able to do so in very limited circumstances. For example, if the Ombudsman believes that the delay was as a result of exceptional circumstances. The website of the Financial Ombudsman is available at: https://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/. For more information, please read about the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Alternatively you have the right to refer your complaint to the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF), free of charge – but you must do so within one year of the date you first complained to PayPal. The CSSF is the authority responsible for the prudential supervision of companies in the financial sector in Luxembourg. You can contact the CSSF at 283 Route d’Arlon, L-1150 Luxembourg.

You may obtain further information regarding the CSSF and how to contact them at: http://www.cssf.lu (for complaint specific information please refer to https://www.cssf.lu/en/customer-complaints/).

Yours sincerely,

PayPal

@fleau, when was your account limited? It doesn't seem like you have violated AUP - perhaps 180 days haven't fully passed?

The last payment received was 28 November 2020.
The last refund was : 11 December 2020
180 have passed since 28 November so customer can't ask a refund now
I don't think 11 December is the date to begin 180 days no ?

The date the acct was limited is the date you start counting those 180 days from. You mention the last payment was received on the 28th of November but was that the date of limitation?

People on eBay couldn't buy because my paypal has been limited.
That's why my last payment was the 28th November.

Edit :
28/11 : Your information is being reviewed. We've received the informations you submitted
29/11 : We're initiating the closure of your Paypal account, you'll not be alble to use paypal

So 29/11/2020 is the date of my suspenssion

They know the docs are stealth, maybe bad photoshop. You have to call in and hope one day you will just get a nice rep who doesnt care about his job will let you withdraw. Failing that give them real id and you get your money.
You wont be needing paypal anyway with the mp sign up anyway in near future.

I am afraid if I give my real ID they say something like : ok you have done that, we take all the money and ban you.
And it can be invoiced too, I gave invoices from my supplier (like vidaxl ect...)

XXXX, apologies for the trouble you are having with your account. I have gone through your previous conversations and I see that you were told to wait for an email from our team. Please know that if your account was limited permanently, our team will review the account every 30 days. As soon as your funds become eligible to be withdrawn, you will see an email from our end. If you have not yet received an email, unfortunately, you may have to wait for one. You will not be able to access the funds until you see an email. Meanwhile, please check your Resolution Center to confirm that there are no pending steps as sometimes these might delay the availability of the funds. Please go through the Resolution Center and complete the pending steps, if there are any. Your understanding is appreciated. Thank you.
