PayPal holding funds I've transferred from my bank for 180 days?

So I transferred my own funds from my personal bank into my PayPal

It's never received funds externally, yet I've now been limited permanently and they're saying they need to hold my funds in case of a reversal? How can there be any reversals if no transfers have ever been made in?

What can I do about this, or am I expected to wait 6 months for my own funds?

did you just link your bank account to your Paypal account?

Send an email to the PayPal appeal emails. Tell them you did nothing wrong and use the reference in the heading

You need to call PAYPAL,it could think someone hacks into your Paypal,link a bank of yours and quickly spend that money without you knowing..
has your bank been verified?

I’ve sent a complaint in, since PayPal staff are useless and saying I must wait 6 months

there could be a reversal,if the bank where the fund comes from,is not yours.

I’m going to be asking my bank to reverse the funds in a few days if I get nowhere with their appeals team.

I disputed a genuine item, they never sent or responded so PayPal refunded me. So now the money is stuck, so I’m now without my funds and my item and can’t repurchase said item from another seller.

I am confused,you said you transfered fund from your bank,now you are talking about making purchase,filing dispute,getting refund etc etc.
