Default Might be losing my paypal account soon, need advice

Im a casual Ebay seller and really just sell extra stuff i have around the house every once in a while, but i use my account to buy a lot. I recently sold an item and the seller, immediately upon receiving the item, filed a dispute then escalated to a claim for not as described. I know im being scammed here, but i also know theres nothing i can do to save this and paypal will find in his favor.

Anyway, i went out and closed the attached accounts and cards, but opened new ones w/ the same institution (told them i was a victim of internet fraud). I removed the paypal account from my ebay account, but had to cancel my auctions and bids since i had no method to send or receive money. My account that is currently in dispute has my real name and shipping info. I think it also has my SSN. i opened it like 4 years ago so i dont really remember. I figured i could set up a new account w/ my new bank info. I can use a new name. My concern is the address. I figure if i try to use the same shipping info it will link to my old account? I figure i can use my brothers address about 5 minutes from me. Just seems like a hassle to get stuff shipped to his place.

Also, i would like to try to keep my ebay account since it took me almost 5 years to build up a 160 feedback rating, but since it was tied to this paypal account, im guessing if i try and link my new one, i'll get flagged?

Is there anything else i should look into to maybe protect myself in the future?

Thanks

Linking a new paypal account to it might work for some time but expect to get Paypal ties to the old one via ebay linkage. I still recommend using different payment processor - paymate, etc.

Use different address, diff name, all diff - even IP. 5 years to build up a 160 feedback is not much but I understand since you casually sell.

You should look into getting eBay Stealth if you plan on going hard onto eBay - otherwise these simply techniques should keep you on the down low.

Well here's a funny thing. Last night i get the email that paypal found in the buyers favor and is going to refund his money after he sends me back the item. Then this afternoon i get 2 more emails. 1st states that my item has been shipped back to me, 2nd states that the dispute is closed because it was resolved. when i went back to check the tracking info he provided paypal for the returned item, it's the tracking # i gave him when i originally shipped the item. basically he used my tracking # to say he shipped the item back to me, and since paypal saw the status as delivered, they closed out the case. weird thing is, by closing the case it released the funds in my account (essentially putting me back at 0) and unlocked it. I immediately went in and removed my CC and bank info, just in case he/they try to charge me back again. Im really hoping i may be able to salvage my account after this, but i fear he's going to realize his mistake and try to dispute it again. At least if i still lose the account i have a backup ready to go now.
