Paypal limited, they want a credit card statement to prove my identity
Paypal is limited, I need to submit a credit card or bank statement or utility bill showing my name and address. Can I just take my real bank statement that is linked to that account, and and change it to what I need it to be? Do they do further verifications?
Thanks

Yes you can do that. I did my bank statement. uploaded it and called them 2 hours later, got paypal regular customer service and xfered to security I guess it is, lady took it off without me even asking. I was kinda paranoid about the whole thing so I ended up changing the address online w/my bank before submitting it just incase they do a name/address verification. I used to work for a bank and got quite a few calls a day from merchants verifying this.. but i think its not needed
go get em

I used a utility bill and it sailed through fine. You could do the same with a credit card statement or any other documents. In fact, I did the DL and the utility bill and they didn't even blink lol
With a bank statement? I don't know guys how you did it... if it's a stealth account and everything is ***** , it's not possible... but if it's in your, slightly changed, name with a bogus address, I guess you can do it...Recently, they do call to verify...
It was the bank statement that was connected with that Paypal account- so the activity corresponded correctly to Paypal. The name and address on the bank account are real. The name and address were both changed on the statement to the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name and address I have with Paypal (even gender and city changed). The only thing similar was the state. The only thing they could have done was look at it- it's a stealth name with my work address.
