I am not sure, I have only opened the one so far. I will have to try to open another and see if it does in fact support multiple accts.
I too cannot imagine busting everyone using ING, but this is paypal we are talking about. | Of course, they read this forum and adjust accordingly |
| DogFacedBoy | 01-24-2008 11:02 PM | I got a limitation from PP wanted more verification. I of course can not withdraw, but they will gladly allow buyers to throw their money into the Paypal bottomless pit. I was able to refund all buyers from the previous day before I shipped, sent them all emails explaining and then just for good measure I sent a refund to someone who already had received their item, just so the $ wouldn't be sitting there for PP to feed off of and hold hostage,
Flushed over $300 this way |

| koalawash | 01-24-2008 11:28 PM | This is the thing that really gets me.. they claim that they "detected" unusual use of funds from your bank account, when in reality they have no clue of anything that goes on in your bank account! I found out long ago that Paypal will not hesitate to tell flat-out lies when it serves them, but I'm amazed that so many people apparently buy this excuse. |
| tvaughan08 | 01-25-2008 03:53 PM | Never saw that before, however I don't use paypal that much |
| christianbale | 01-26-2008 03:39 PM | Can I save this account? Here's the story,
I have an older account that has never been used. However, it is limited with no funds or activity on it.
The limitation is asking for basic Address Confirm/Bank Account.
I added the bank account without a problem. I added a CC & Phone number, but that is what went wrong. I accidently used the wrong CC with a different address. It isn't linked to anything else, but now it is limited due to the different address. This limitation was done instantly after I provided the CC with different address. Basically the limitation was done because of mismatching addresses. That is what I think happened.
So,,I went to verify by phone and messed up due to inexperience with grandcentral. I wasn't quick enough and the call was dropped. Now they're sending verification through mail. The address is poopy, so I can't get it.
Is there a way to recover from this? Perhaps add another CC with the good address? Or call saying it is an old address and there is no way of checking it? Not sure how or what to do from here.
Bank account is verified
CC is confirmed but with a poopy addy
Phone # is added and confirmed through mobile, but not regular
Last step is confirming code through addy, but not possible |
| ebayhateluv | 01-26-2008 06:02 PM | HI- theres been a few posts on this..
--I personally have never had this problem, but from what Ive read- It seems to me folks do a usps (dot)com, change of address , from that poopy address to your own, so you can get that piece of mail...
--ANY others, can help here?? |
| californiadreamer | 01-26-2008 06:41 PM | when you do a change of address you have to use a credit card to do so (think it was a dollar) just to verify the person doing so is supposed to. I did it successfully with a gift card that matches the person. |

| christianbale | 01-26-2008 11:46 PM | good, that is what i was going to try next
i have everything setup, just made a mistake, and was hoping it was fixable
wasn't sure if i could just add another cc with a non poopy address and it would solve the issue
i will find out soon...
gracias to both of you |
| DogFacedBoy | 01-27-2008 12:03 AM | Wow does this mean you can register a bogus address and then just fill out a usps change of address and get everything forwarded to an actual address?
Kind of does for snail mail what GrandCentral did for phone verification |
| christianbale | 01-27-2008 12:22 AM | yes, there are a few ways of doing this...
that is what i currently have setup,..but i made a mistake and used the wrong one
i will now have to label or keep a record of my cc's so this doesn't happen again |
| koalawash | 01-27-2008 12:57 AM | And I'm still amazed how many people buy that, too.. :( |
| koalawash | 01-27-2008 01:03 AM | Someone please post back here and let us know if this address forwarding thing works for them.. I'm so anxious to know. |
| ebayhateluv | 01-27-2008 03:46 AM | FYI, GUYS;
I read in a column last year these Amazing facts:
a.) Paypal itself says they have 100 Million Members
b.) At any one time "1 percent" of their members have some sort of limitation
c.) So, that's 1 Million Accts Limited
d.) The "Average" pp acct has $45 in it
e.) Mine has always had more than that, so some acts must only have $1 in it when ltd??
f.) anyhow, to do the math: 1 ,000,000 accts limited x $45 = $45,000,000
Theyre sitting on Forty Five Million Dollars of OPM (others Peoples Money)-- 24x7??
---Nice Interest for FREE--huh?? |
| f1br3opt1c | 01-28-2008 08:54 PM | Paypal Limited - PayPal Limitations - the Definitive Thread on what to do, what not Ok i just got a call from Paypal, and they asked me some stuff about Spyder Ski jackets im selling which are Replica's gotten from China. I told them i got it from Malaysia and re-sell it. After like 10minutes my paypal is frozen. They want reciepts and suppier info for 5 transactions i completed which are Spyders and a few other stuff.
Should i tell them i get it from China and give the china suppliers info? Or is this a bad idea? I just emailed them saying i buy it from a Store here and sell them and it was bought long time ago so i dont have the reciept.
Please give me ideas, this is my main account :( |
| ebayhateluv | 01-28-2008 08:59 PM | Personally, I think they know CHina is Famous for Replicas, as is Japan, Asia..
---Some folks say that Paypal EMPLOYEES like that supplier info to sell themselves??
--As for your answer-- I'd probably take photos of the goods, upload the stock to them, this will show you have sufficient stock to fill the orders,
--as for Receipts for them...??? |
| bigrab54 | 01-28-2008 09:08 PM | this happend to myself a while back. they wanted tracking codes of my last 20 items or so and they where after proof i had items in my posession. a real pain and took a life time to sort. i had use of my friends luckily and was able to keep selling but a nightmare never the less. |
| DogFacedBoy | 01-28-2008 10:11 PM | This is BS. Last fall I had PP do the same thing to me, luckily I only had to come up with docs for 4 items, but it was a pain. Is it hidden anywhere in their TOS that you must provide delivery confirmation and supplier info? How can anyone do so after the fact?
You could always go to a local store, buy the jackets, copy the receipt so you can send it to PP and then bring the jackets back. You can also mail empty packages with delivery confirmation. A lot of work, but might be worth it if the PP account is that valuble and worth saving. |
