just call them and get it straightened out. The sooner they leave feedback, the sooner you will get your money. Or just call them and get the money sooner. Sometimes they hold money if the buyer has a problem with his account.

I am hoping they just say their investigating when really they will just hold the funds for 21 days until the buyer either says something bad about the exchange, and if he doesnt (which he wont) they will just release the funds to my account.

Is it a "Ship Now" hold or "PayPal Hold" or what does it say along with the transaction?

One of the benefits of using PayPal is that we make every effort to alert
you to potentially problematic transactions. Our goal is to help you make
sound business decisions.

A review of recent transactions indicates that you may have received an
unauthorized payment. This means that the PayPal account holder may not
have authorized the payment you received.

We would like to learn more about this transaction. Please log in to your
PayPal account and provide some information.

We strongly advise that you not ship the item until our investigation is
complete. If you have already shipped the item, please log in and let us
know where you shipped it.

We have placed a temporary hold on the funds until the investigation is
complete.

If the PP account holder didn't authorize the payment, who else could have? I don't think someone is just going to randomly send you money. That is messed up. Did you contact PP at all?

It's possible the buyer logged in with a completely different ip which caused the hold. Just refund, explain to the buyer and have them resend the money.

Default Question about Lifting limit 500 dollars for paypal

Hi, I created like 5 accounts... and I used gift cards that I bought from stores.

One of my account, I was able to raise limit ... so no problem

but other accoutns, even though I added and confirmed credit cards i still have 500 limits..

when I check credit card profile I see gift credit card with confirmed. But I still got 500 limit

and of course I added bank account...

any advice? How can I raise limit without SSN? Can I do it with regular gift card? Is there Gift card that works? or USE VCC?

sounds like pp gave you the big bang. why would you accept some of the money to a new account when your old account was fine?

Do they actually send it or do they deposit it in your bank accout on file?

Or do you have a choice?

Is it automatic or do you have to request the money?

Is my account really limited permanently? It doesn't even say anything in my account. I will call them tomorrow and find out.
