Let's see, changing the contact info on PP and eB from a geographically different IP, A WEEK prior selling scrap silver for $250 on an otherwise dormant eB account. Does that sound suspecious at all? Anyone?

LOL - That's the way I'm running on this one - too much too soon after changing details. I thought the advise was use the account for browsing and buying for 30 days before selling. But I haven't had a drink yet so my memory isn't very good

Yeah, probably changing info too quickly. Now that I think about it, it sounds like a perfectly reasonable excuse for them to close it.

BUT! My eBay account is still in good standing. I still have the basic 10items/$1,000 per month limit for new members but I also have a couple of positive feedback scores (no negatives or neutrals).

So now - how can I continue using this eBay account? Can I successfully add a new PayPal account if I were to acquire one? Or would this not raise a flag as having multiple PayPal accounts in which the information doesn't match up? How do I continue selling on eBay?

Sorry hon - that's toast.

You've now got to start all over again
(I bet you get it right this time - especially if you invest a little bit of money in the stealth guide!!)
Good luck with it - and y'all come back and see us now - ya hear?

Completely pointless with a new account though isn't it, too many limits etc!

Start fresh.

Where did you buy this PP account from, same country?

Yes, bought it from doughboykilla. Everything came pre-set and verified. It was a flawless account until I screwed it up

True, true :D

I've nearly convinced myself that these accounts are only good for a "smash and grab" type of transaction (legitimate, of course) since even the most loyal of members can get shut down without a simple, reasonable explanation.

Make accounts > sell item > get money > buy something QUICK and ship it to you > collect money however you want

^^ Exactly, we all have to have the mindset that eBay could just kick us off again without reason! Multiple accounts would be best option to overcome that.

You can buy accounts again, nothing wrong with that, I would just recommend getting familiar with the setting up of stealth accounts yourself :D

This had me laughing for about 10 minutes. That's EXACTLY how I feel when I have conversations with PP sometimes.

SLOWLY....IS THE WAY,FOR SUCCESS.......ON EB!.......& pp
you jumped in at the deepend and got fed pon by the sharks,
any big spike in sales raises a flag, never mind $0 to $250 with 0 fb
also i heard selling precious metals is abit dodgy
its all speculation though,
we need some pp employees to to join the dark side and show us the path to enlightenment
