Default Legitimate account, Legit Sales limited.?

Hello good people! First off all let me say I have been a professional eba-er off and on for years. I have also been a member off this forum for quite sometime. Reading and researching. My first eb-y account was suspended in 2004 and I have been creating accounts ever since.

I need some input. I have a eBay and paypal account that are both in a relatives name. 7 months old fully verified. I have been limited several times for ss verification , called them and resolved. Recently I was limited so I called and they said that they were waiting for 1 of my packages to get delivered so they can unlimit.

The package was delivered, the next morning I get the appeal denied email and the infamous 180 hold. I have never had a claim or any problems at all 100% feedback should I call and plead my case or is it a lost cause?

Welcome to the forums. I would call them up and politely explain that the package has arrived and that all your documentation is there - push for it.

But the REAL question is why are you getting limited SEVERAL times? IP issue? Product issue? Analyze this - post this info and let`s discuss.

Pay attention to rsot.

However, just bear in mind ANY account can be subjected to limitation. Makes no difference to paypal. Sorry for that sad news.

Follow the guidance from rsot

The reason I would get soft limitation is every time I applied for the debit card. They would want a picture I'd and address verification. Which I sent them no problem. Then finally I called in and they sent the debit card out. This is the first time I have been limited in months. High volume is probably the reason for the limitation but all of my ducks are in a row(I thought). Nothing tricky. This is the only account I have been working with for months so no ip issues good feedback left on everything no claims.

I was wondering if anybody had overturned a limitation such as mine or should I just start again?

Caught between the devil and the high road now.

High volume makes them nervous. 180 day limits are usually the death knock. That said, and especially because of teh debit card, you should consider a formal appeal....

In the mean time, you could consider starting again. ( back up accounts etc.).

Called them just now. There whole tone has changed. She informed me that after reviewing the account they have made the decision that I can no longer use the service.

Welcome to paypal and their lack of service.

OK, re-group. Start again. Sorry this happened to you.

Now get even and beat them

Push again - talk to a supervisor - tell them you have debit card, they have your ID, you have been paying fees, etc. - try another hail mary shot.

In your spot, I would even push by writing e-mails to a lot of "execs" and creating HEAT.

Also, make stealth accounts in the interim.

Just 1 question. Does the "relative" know you're using his identity?

Yes he does. He is my father in law. He actually is involved with my business. I think I will shoot off some emails. It is weird they were all nice when I was first calling about the limitation. All of a sudden they had a terrible tone about it..

Easier to move on and start stealth. Once they give you the "no longer wish to do business" email, you are done. You will figure it out it is not that hard. In fact, it has many advantages.
