Anual selling limit issue
My account has been going strong for about 7 months now after following stealth tactics, but I logged into my paypal account and got a message saying:
'You have received £1,650 or more in total payments to your PayPal account in this calendar year and are therefore approaching our annual receiving limit of £1,900. PayPal is required by law to comply with European Union Anti-Money Laundering regulations by collecting information from customers when they receive more than £1,900 in total payments within a calendar year. Please go to the Resolution Centre for more information on what you need to do.'
I filled in all the details they asked for but they said the information doesn't match up, so now they want me to fax ID and Proof Of Address. Does anyone know if there is any way around this? Are there any 'artistic' guys on the forum that may be able to help?
I'm not too worried as I have already withdrawn everything that was in that account. but for future reference, is there any way you can avoid the £1900 limit, do people know how to lift the limits before something like this happen? Or will you always need documents in order to do so?
