I have a lot of money tied up in a PayPal account that I cannot get out for awhile. It's making me very nervous.
I've heard how paypal will freeze an account and payout after 180 days. This seems pretty routine. My question is this: is there ever a scenario in which paypal will keep the money and not return it eventually? Has this happened to anyone?
I'm not frozen btw.

The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
On an old account I had they took the money. It was only $300. I looked in the history and it said PayPal payment adjustment. They stole the money I earned basically
They will keep it if they feel there was any illegally activity on the account. Such as fraudulent sales, identity theft, stolen credit card, etc.
If it is just that they can not verify who you say you are, they will usually release in 180 days.
