Default Has anyone been receiving this message on limited paypal accounts??

Hello
So Ive had recent trouble with paypal accounts getting limited. Something is different because ive never had this problem before. When paypal asks me to submit documents, I get this message next the document I submitted:
"Information Received-Not Accepted please resubmit Reason: Document did not contain Requested information"

When Ive called to question them about it its only ended in disaster with them permanently limiting. But if I dont call it just seems to stay at that status, thus far anyway. If they were going to limit me permanently why not just do it? Why even put this status to begin with. A bit confused here....

What did they want for the first request? What was the actual notice?

What did you supply?

Did you black out any info on any document?

Expand on your side please.

Do yu know why you are getting limited and what steps will you take for the future to avoid same?

When they permanently limit you OP...what do they say? Are you always selling the same items?

Kind of need more details to propose a viable solution

Here is the first message I received:
We need your help resolving an issue with your account. To give us time to
work together on this, we've temporarily limited what you can do with your
account until the issue is resolved.

We understand it may be frustrating not to have full access to your PayPal
account. We want to work with you to get your account back to normal as
quickly as possible.

What's the problem?

Since this is a new account, we'd like some additional information to help
confirm your identity.

They wanted me to confirm my bank account and give them proof of address. Had never accepted money on this account. Confirmed bank and provided a utility bill. Both were accepted and passed. Even though accepted they then asked for more info being proof of ID. I gave them a photo of my passport. Then I received the message this thread is about.

Two of the accounts that were permanently limited had not accepted any money yet so there was no established "risk" to speak of, which I assume means something having to do with account set up. But I havent made any major shifts in practice so thats why Im confused. Maybe I need to find a new ip provider....

also when permanently limiting me, I was never sent any notice by email about it for either account it happened to. I only found out because I called to see why the limitations were not lifted as I was told they would be. Both times I spoke with paypal before the permanent limit and was told by the reps that they personally would lift the limit for me, and that I should see it cleared up by the next day. Both times I saw no change in the morning and so I called and was told about the permanent limitation. No explanation given.

Also did not black out any info on the document
and no I do not yet know exactly what to do differently. So Im just trying to do my research at the moment before moving ahead and wasting time, good bank acccounts etc on accounts that just get banned.

could paypal be refering to some database to check if passport id is correct (like amazon do )
is your account a stealth or on your name ?

i think the submitting of passpost could be the problem.

A passport?

Was it used before?

Should have avoided that.

I don't know about the permanent limitation, but your initial limitation seems similar to what they've been doing lately if you add a VBA that they've blacklisted. What VBA did you use?

No id never given them my passport before. thats why I went that route over a state ID. I think this person may be right and the issue all along has just been the bank issue. For some reason I guess ive been lucky that its never been a problem until now

btw just for anyone's reference, the vba was bancorp. Yes I now know (thanks to many helpful people here) that apparently thats a big NO-NO. I dont know how it is Im just now experiencing difficulty with bancorp given how so many here have expressed to me how notoriously risky using them is, but this is the first time I had reason to question it as an option since as I said Id never had a problems because of it til this last week.
