Paypal case PP-009-xxx-xxx-xxx and PP-009-xxx-xxx-xxx

Does anyone know anythign about this?i didnt recieve both of my items so i opened the case on paypal with in 1 minute of difference.these are the case numbers Paypal case PP-009-xxx-xxx-xxx and PP-009-xxx-xxx-xxx

if you minus the number its difference of 6570 does that means paypal got around 7000 average cases in a minute

thats damn a lots of number.any one knows how these numbers work

No it does not mean that.
They probably have some algorithm that generates those numbers.
Don't read too much into it.

it would not surprise me if they did get that many cases per minute actually....worldwide.

That's 7000 per minute
Which is 7000 X 60 = 420,000 per hour
Which translates into 420,000 X 24 = 10,080,000 per day.
I doubt they have over 10 million new cases per day... or more than 3.6 BILLION cases per year.
But hey who knows lol

3.6 billion cases on only a dozen top customer care employees, lol

That number seems unimaginable but ya never know.

Fields/digits might have different meaning depending on the case or might indicate some other infos like timestamp or else.

I do not think it is just a matter of math between the 2.

Well in my 12 Years of experience with paypal.i think Numbers are right, in holiday season it will be more.same thing goes with ebay cases also.... That's a lot of work guys. Not easy to manage a web site like ebay and paypal!!!
