Re: Paypal limited

On a different note,

I have a second business launching soon.

Completely separate business, separate legal entity in a different country, doing something different than the previous one.

Can I get a legitimate paypal account for that business without worrying about getting linked (and limited) to the previous one?

thanks for the help

What if its not legit? Do FO make checks? Is telling them the same thing told to PP risking trouble with the Law?

BTW complaints against them do have an effect- Im pretty sure it costs PP £200 for every complaint against them regardless of the outcome, and if they get too many they get in more trouble, which costs them more money. Complaints against them are not good anyway - kind of like the ebay system when you think of it!!!

Why not do a SARs request just to see what happens - ask for blinking EVERYTHING (but you must specify). Ask for it in braille, and for every copy to be signed and stamped by their information compliance officer as a true copy of the original. If you spoke to them on the phone, you can even ask for those conversations to be transcribed! All that will cost you a tenner, but you can make them go back 5 years, from memory anyway.

(I say all that....I assume they have a UK office if FO have clout with them?)

A different business altogether in a different country.

Just my name would be the same.

You think it will still get limited?

If the ONLY thing you kept the same i think you'd get away but dont take my word for it i'd ask someone more experienced like Bunneh

But make sure EVERYTHING else is different dude

Best of luck

Really?

I don't see any sense in that...

It's a completely different business - I'm not talking stealth here, just 2 completely separate, legitimate businesses.

thanks for the help
