Like callidus said you need to get the stealth guide so you dont have to use any real info.

just before I joined the forum and knew very little about linking, the same happened to me and so I made an account in sisters details, with permission, and it must have been linked and she got banned, she was only able to make an account on ebay/paypal again when she moved house....everyone nowadays needs or wants an ebay account, so do not mess that up for them....maybe someone really old and does not use the internet is the only option, but I wouldnt do it.......

the bet thing might be the issue, not saying you did anything wrong, but people do cash-out using a betting method, and it may have flagged the account initially.

you need to read the forum and get the basics.

the thing is my dad has a paypal account under his name with the same address that i have put down in my account but his has not gotten linked or limited yet (touch wood) so i dunno whats going on there. i dont need an ebay account only a paypal account.
what do you mean by cash out using a betting method?
but i got limited about a week or so after starting betting

i was thinking when and if i create another account im just going to leave the money in my betting account when i really need it and slow transfer that into my paypal account maybe 20 everyday or every two days

i have read the forum before i join. i was thinking of creating an account using my details its just i dont know how i would go about doing so

The guy obviously just wants to hear an agreement with what he thinks, when its not 'right'.

Dude, listen to people on the forum, start from scratch, read the book, study the forum. All your answers on here, and if an experienced Stealther says 'No' they are probably right.

did you submit any id already? because if you insist on making an account in your same name, it can be done, as long as the address is different.

there is a chance the dob and name will link you, but if everything else is different, then it might be worth a try....

if it is just for betting, then maybe a paypal with just a card attached is best, that way
if it goes down, a bank has not been wasted - Or are you wanting to withdraw winnings
back in to paypal?

another point - is it just for virtual stuff like betting and you do not want stuff delivered, then the registration details, particularlly address is irrelevant...

Yeah I submitted my driving license but do they really look through the documents to link me?
If my address and dob is different how will I provide ID or documents when they ask for it?
I had a card attached to my last account and it got limited but it was not verified so is that another reason it could have been limited?
Yeah I withdraw some of my winnings to my PayPal account

Are you taking about my betting account and address for that?

so if you withdraw, then you need a bank attached.

so you submitted DL already, then so maybe if you make a new acc you can submit passport and a bank statement for a new address.

your risk is that the same name and dob might link you back.

if you insist on doing your own details, make sure you have no other links eg. ip/cookies etc etc.....

your alternative is to have stealth details...

I lost 2 stealth PP accounts in the past week alone both citing security concerns one was 5 months old and had handled hundreds of transactions. Rather than bicker about this we need to pull knowledge into why this is happening - is there something we are all failing to do?

im planning on making a new paypal account using my name and a different address and DOB and i was wondering do i need to change my ip or can i just make a new mac user account and then create my account?

also will paypal limit my account if i leave my account unverified and without a credit card or bank account added?

I just opened it to test what happens so basically EVERYTHIHG is same apart from email address and I logged in today from SAME PC and acct still looks OK

well same ip, same windows user account and same details used = DEFINATE link and limitation.

You will ne linked with IP & cookies from old limited account.

If you run multiple stealths, the ip needs to be different for each stealth.

If you run one then as long as the ip is different from your banned accounts then its fine.
I use a 3 mobile broadband dongle which changes ip everytime you log on.

You also need a new windows user account and ALL information on ebay and paypal need to be new and not the same as your old accounts.

Really need to change IP address as well

You cannot be using the same IP as your dads PayPal account

If you want a strong PayPal your going to need to verify it and confirm it

i am thinking of leaving my account without adding anything to it just in case it gets limited as i dont want to waste a bank account on it
i am planning on leaving it for 7 days or so and then add a few pounds see how it does and then add my bank account will that work?

If you change IP no it would not effect his PayPal.

If however he logs into the PayPal using the same IP as you then that may well effect his PayPal

well he is going to log in with the same ip as me because how can you have 2 ip address
also he uses the same computer as me
