Paypal Alternatives For People Worldwide! Great Info!

Hey guys! as an expectant mum in the same position as all of you i have ALOT of time on my hands :D so i found some useful information for all of us regarding paypal alternitives that wont get you suspended!

this is copied from a ebay help topic i found:

Realize that ebay own's Paypal so they push users to use their system.

If you are an Australian ebay user then Paymate is a great solution.
If you are a Canadian ebay user then CertaPay is great.
If you are a UK ebay usere then Nochex is great.

US ebay users and International Users can all use BidPay with a US Bank Account.
BidPay is the best solution to selling on ebay without Paypal and wanting to accept credit cards

Payment Services permitted on eBay: Allpay.net, Bidpay, cash2india, CertaPay, Checkfree.com, hyperwallet.com, Moneybookers.com, Nochex.com, Ozpay.biz, Paymate.com.au, Propay.com, XOOM

Great information lissyclark, thanks a lot.

altu 08-27-2007 01:29 AM

Hi Lissy: Thanks for the great info. I too totally say good bye to Paypal on ebay! I can say it with certainty that paypal is sharing info with ebay, I had two account that got suspended because of paypal.

so I switch to bidpay and it's been a DREAM!! It can do everything paypal can and you can rest assure that they won't give your info to ebay so you can use your real name, real bank account to accept payment!! so what it takes 24 hours for bidpay to approve your incoming money from the shopper, it's better off than worry about paypal back stab you and trade you in to ebay's hell !

lissyclark 08-27-2007 08:15 AM

i agree! im using one thats great in australia, and its a dream! 2 days tops and the moneys in my bank account! its SO much faster and no messing around like paypal! the worste part about paypal is that ur finally making some REAL money, and suddenly, ur paypal account is limited, the buyer leaves u bad feedback and ur account is as good as screwed anyway! thats why things like bidpay and paymate are a DREAM to deal with! :D

tyandlayne 08-27-2007 08:33 AM

I tried using biday but go shut down because the name on my ebay account did not match with my bidpay account.. Please reply..

lissyclark 08-28-2007 06:16 AM

did ebay tell you that?
im in australia so i use paymate and with great success, its all in my normal name too not my ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ebay name! they cant share any info with ebay, unless bidpay violated that i cant think of how else ebay found out. perhaps try a different alternitive like one of the others listed?
what did the suspension notice say?

DogFacedBoy 08-28-2007 09:53 AM

I'm thinking of trying to open up a Bidpay account.
My real info isn't tainted with them hopefulled it will work.

One question for everyone that registered with a GC and is using Bidpay and has no association PP whatsoever. How do you pay your seller fees? There is only a limited amount in the GC, you can't pay ebay with Bidpay. Will they just accept a money order month after month?

ebay100 08-30-2007 09:27 AM

Will it work if Accounts do not match?

JackNoMore 08-30-2007 12:23 PM

Does anyone here use CertaPay? Does it work like Paypal or more like a real merchant account or even GCO, Bidpay (direct to bank)? Is there any other service that holds your money like Paypal before depositing, or is Paypal the only one that does that? I don't mind having a balance if it's safe from Paypal-like limitations and freezes.

And are Bidpay accounts reusable? I had one on a suspended eb account that I haven't tried to offer since, but maybe now's the time to consider it.

lissyclark 08-30-2007 04:50 PM

im in australia and i have my real info listed with paymate. they dont share my info at all with ebay!
i do a one off payment to pay all my seller fees :p
i must say tho, im not listing much, i dont wanna raise concern, just slowly trying to raise my feedback through buying and selling. its working a charm so far! and to start with im not selling my usual goods. just a mixture of them with some stuff around the house i didnt want anymore so it all looks legit.

Bidpay - eBay integration!

"How do I automatically add BidPay into my auction listings?
BidPay supports integration with eBay Sellers and is an authorized eBay compatible application. During Seller registration, you will log in to your eBay account to authenticate it to your BidPay account. You will have the opportunity to set up automatic insertion of the BidPay payment button onto your eBay auctions associated with that eBay Seller ID. We also offer HTML that can be manually pasted into selected auction listings." from Bidpay website.

Just wondering, once you LINK the accounts, and your account gets suspended, does the BIDPAY account get blacklisted as well?

stacyp 09-15-2007 02:07 AM

Lissyclark,

how many listing is not many??? I just opened new Ebay account with Giftcard that you guys have been suggesting.. so far so good.. only two days... but I don't want to go crazy after suspended 3 times from Ebay and once from PayPal. I hate PayPal... so would you explain a little bit more about how many listings and how much of items I should post each day??

Also.. you can use paymate to pay ebay selling fees??? does anyone have problem with paymate or bidpay?? I hate PAYPAL.. I have $1500 sitting in there and can't get it out and have to wait 180 days??? crazy *******...

stacyp 09-15-2007 02:15 AM

Oh.. does anyone use Bidpay ( real name and info) with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ebay ID and info? I just don't want to get screwed since it took me a while to get this account running. PLEASE LET ME KNOW . If they don't share any info and if name and address doesn't have to match.. I will sign up for Bidpay RIGHT NOW. I hate PayPal.

JackNoMore 09-16-2007 07:49 AM

Has anyone here had experience with e-gold or e-pay.vg? Are they solid alternatives or potential scammers? Are the fees competitive or high?

mr burns 10-25-2007 05:14 PM

Thanks for the info guys!
this has been a problem for me and now i can sell:) :) :)

hateebaymorethanyou 10-25-2007 05:37 PM

Good luck getting money back from paypal!

Good luck getting that money back from Paypal. I hear it's rare that they give it back and if they do it takes far longer than the 180 days and usually takes you threatening an attorney.

Oh no! I'm sitting here thinking il just wait 180 days for pp to release my $4000 I gave pp a call after they suspended me, asking for more and more info till i aggressively told them that “I refuse to send you scammers any more info let alone my personal id. Who are you to ask me for that information? You didn't want it when i joined so what makes you think you can ask for it now?”I quickly realized that all the scammers i was trying to avoid on the internet were intact holding my money!
They replied saying “you don't have to send in what we requirer but your account will be limited and you wont be able to access your money for 180 days”so i decided to just wait nooooooo!:(

i got my money on the 181st day

newebayerwannabe 10-26-2007 12:19 AM

With paymate can we accept money from international buyer?

hateebaymorethanyou 10-26-2007 09:35 AM

Go to paypalsucks.com -- it might be helpful

This same thing happened to a friend of mine - they had a lot of her money and she learned the hard way to always, always, always take money out of paypal - leave less than $100 in there if you can.

Paypal said they'd give it back in 6 months even after she sent them all of the information they needed - plus some. She ended up calling an attorney in the state Paypal is in and talking to him about it. She then let paypal know she wouldn't back down like so many others do - and within 10 days they let her in it again and she quickly took her money out. This was only after the attorney threat and sending many emails each day along with phone calls each day to the idiots.

I'm talking phone calls every hour on the hour!

If you go to PayPalSucks.com is where you will learn about the PayPal Class Action Lawsuit, Abuse, Fraud & evil behind the PayPal system! you'll read that it's rare, rare, rare that people get their money back. Paypal is freezing accounts EVERY day and keeping money - they're making millions off of us because they can! Since they aren't a REAL bank - they don't have to follow any rules.

Don't give up! If they have no reason to keep your money -- you need to fight for it. What's that saying .. 'the squeaky wheel gets the grease? "

SQUEAK baby! SQUEAK !!!! :D

Let us know what happens - I have my fingers crossed for you.:)

Thanks the worse thing is the pp account was over 1yr old and my feedback was 214 pos 100% I worked hard on that account.1 of there exuses was that the account was new, i never worked that 1 out??????and that i caused a spike in my account that was high risk, meanning i sold to many items in a givin amount of time. The trouble with pp and ebay is they think they can just take your bussiness over and control how much you earn.......

vers0 10-26-2007 06:29 PM

Modee, I believe you about the FTC but also think they are making money on you money....I think 180 days is insane..

hateebaymorethanyou 10-26-2007 09:25 PM

A paypal employee actually bragged to my husband about not being a REAL bank and not having to follow the rules of a real bank.

I hate them!

I am so glad I only have $13.00 in my account when they closed me. Getting ready to start over with a new account and using Bidpay. Just rereading (for the 100th time) to make sure I am not missing anything.

New to this bs called Ebay and their suspensions!

mr burns 11-13-2007 08:33 AM

well i opened a paymate account it was working fine untill ebay linked my account and suspended me then i received an email of paymate saying they have limited my account because i am no longer a registered ebay user and wanted to know why? so paymate mite not give your info to ebay but ebay gives it to them so be carefull. I was putting a paymate link on my ebay listings though so i think this is were i made my mistake.

SECondplaygames 11-24-2007 03:38 AM

Thanks great resources!

mojoyuni 12-02-2007 01:22 AM

Paypal just limited my account not because of suspension ties but because this paypal account is new and receiving lots of payments. I buy top line household goods from my in-laws kitchen and bath store at their cost. He recently suffered a stroke and cannot operate the day to day matter. I pay them CASH. Paypal is insisting for supplier info and contact numbers. I tried to explain that they want nothing to do with being contacted in fear that it may come back to bite them from their vendors.

Any suggestions? Someone know bogus supplier contact? I'll pay $$$ to get me that.

Plus, I have ebay buyers willing to pay me by google checkout but they have a 500.00 limitation. What the heck?

imjustme 12-02-2007 02:49 AM

Let me guess, you withdrew every last cent from PayPal all the time? If you get $1000 in payments in a week, leave $100 in there. Or at least enough to cover for 3-4 refunds.

mojoyuni 12-02-2007 03:07 AM

Really? So I screwed myself...I read somewhere in here to withdraw and leave nothing. Crap. Any idea from here?

imjustme 12-02-2007 07:26 AM

Some people say withdraw it all, some say leave some in there. I can only speak for what worked for me. Whenever I withdrew everything, I got limited around the $1000-$2000 mark. When I always left enough in there for about 3-4 refunds, I've been so far able to withdraw over $10000 without ever being asked for anything by PayPal. They have millions of accounts, they can't go ask documentation for every each one of them. It's based on risk. If you always withdraw everything, they're faced with the risk of you not being able to cover refunds. What if you sell things for $2000 and don't leave them anything for their safety? Of course they will limit you. I would do so as well. They can't give complete strangers thousands of dollars of free credit, so to speak.

Imjustme, when i sign up for Japan/China account how do you read the website. Its all in chinesse..lol
