Withdrawing Over Weekend

Anyone have issues withdrawing over a weekend? More specifically, taking longer than 24 hours to go from "pending" to "completed"? All of my withdrawals on one of my accounts have been "instant" (takes 30 minutes from pending to completed) and for some reason the withdraw I made yesterday is still pending...I would assume until tomorrow. Usually it's 24 hours...I have had pending withdrawals up to 72 hours before. I know it can be anywhere in that time frame, it is just odd that this one is pending for so long, when all of my other ones have been "instant". I believe my other withdrawals have been on weekdays though.

A PayPal withdrawal can take up-to 72 hours - even if it has previously completed within 24 or 48. The time length is based on; recent withdrawal activity, associated risk level and the network that the request came from.

It will be completed for certain by on or around the 72 hour mark. It's not due to the weekend, but simply due to their security system's decision to hold it for some time.

I know it can take up to 72 hours...I have had some that have taken that long before. Just seemed odd that it didnt "complete" yet since there has been nothing out of the ordinary.

That's why i never withdraw on weekends.

In the US the Federal Reserve processes all EBT/ACH transactions after the close of business each day, and runs them overnight. Usually the clearinghouse runs them around/after midnight.

The Fed does not operate Saturday night.

Transactions posted on Saturday and Sunday wait until Sunday night to process, so transfers done on those two days show as 'pending' over the weekend, until they clear in the Sunday night batch and show as 'cleared' and 'completed'.

The Fed downloads these batches to your bank of choice, which then may take up to another 24 hours or more to credit your account.

Some of my banks credit at 4AM, some 6PM, some don't batch their info until noon or later.
