Do share if it's legit.
Why 'private'? There's nothing here somebody else hasn't already thought of and used.

Well, you can pay your bills with the card. Some credit card processors don't charge you a processing fee for paying bills. You CAN'T do cashback at stores, because it'll decline it, regardless of you having a PIN number because the card company will see it as an "ATM Withdrawal." Or you can buy items at a Walgreens and take it back, they'll give you money in your hand, just say you don't have the card anymore. Easy.
Back in the day, they used to have this company called Obopay, and man they used to be nice. You could add a visa/mastercard gift card and send money to another person. I don't know how they operate their company now, but this was back in 2010.
Mobile payment card processors, when they first became the norm, were great, but companies like Square and PayAnywhere like to cry when you process a certain amount of payments and want to hold your money up so they weren't even worth it after a while, don't know if they changed though.
There are a plethora of ways to get money off a gift card, with or without fees, you just have to be clever.

Yeah, we've all suggested buying things the OP needs, but the OP is cash-hungry-desperate-crazy.

Either that or use the money to pay some bills or gas if you have a car. It's really simple. | Does this actually work ? Is it only for walgreens?

Walgreens is the only one that wont try to complain and say that they can only give you the money back on the card you purchased the item on. Other stores will do that or try to give you gift card in place of it. I'm telling you, I tried all of these options years ago.
However, there are these magnetic stripes that can copy the code from a card. If you're CLEVER, you would know what to do with that. I know exactly what to do, but I don't know if that type of info should be in the Subscriber's Forums or what, so I took it down from here. Post Offices and Currency Exchanges let you buy money orders with cards, but don't like them being bought from gift cards, not because they can't get the money off the giftcards, but because that they can SEE that it's a giftcard. *Hint* *Hint* That's what the magnetic stripe copier is for.

This thread feels like when a Husband ask his wife what she wants to eat.....then the husband proceeds to fire off a bunch of different types of foods, places, and the wife say's "No", so then the husband ask, "what do you want to eat"? and the wife says, "I don't know".....that's what this thread is. | The Following User Says Thank You to MM78 For This Useful Post: | |

No, there's really been no 'why', though at this point who the heck can even tell what's going on here what with 'can't do this' and 'I'll lose a percentage' and 'insane fees', and 'all these suggestions are not valid'.
And people with their secret 'private' techniques, and card stripe copiers, and a thousand other crazy things. |

Also, dashawn if you don't wanna do a certain way, then figure your own way out if you don't like the methods others have posted.

Of course not. He's still asking about ways to pull the money out, there's a new thread started like yesterday, and he's still insulting everybody and their mother because they can't do the impossible for him.
