Exactly. Stealthers must be doing something wrong, because there's NO WAY IN HELL millions of people across the US(or wherever) would continue using PP if they encountered this issue on their very first sale. Would definitely leave a bad taste in their mouth.

Been using this paypal account with eBay since 2010. Never had an issue until now. I have 100% positive feedback at over 300, I've bought old phones and fixed them up. Just sold an iPhone 6s, nothing new there I've sold quite a few over the years but I also just got this message when withdrawing to my back accout however it says may take up to 21 hours which I thought was a random number.

5+ year old account and never sold on Ebay. 80% of the time the transfer to my bank goes through fine. 20% of the time the delayed message comes up and transfers to my back after exactly 24 hours.

I've never had them email or call me with a question. It's some automated crap but I've def. never used my account with Ebay.

I sell on ebay and have had this happen from early September to now. However prior to this my transfers only process for one business day before posting to my bank account. I've graduated from 21-day holds already my paypal/ebay are both over 115 days aged so these delays are completely unnecessary. My transfers are always small amounts ranging from $15-90 and most often get the "tranfer delayed for 24-hours", "tranfer delayed for 48-hours", and rarely the 72-hour which I have gotten as well. After the specified amount of hours the transfer goes to a complete status and goes to my bank account, CHASE bank, the very next day. This is very inconvenient as I meed the money for shipping fulfillment. If you try to inquire of Paypal about this, they will scratch their ass and give you a prescripted answer. Long story short, fxck paypal and their financial monopoly over internet sales..

Yup, I just got this message again last night after doing a transfer. So I don't expect the funds to arrive until next Tuesday to my bank. But the funny thing is when they send me the automated email, it says "Estimates arrival: 1 business day"??

Their system seems completely flawed, how can you tell me the payment is delayed 72 hrs, then send an automated email saying the payment will arrive in 1 day.

So this clue is very interesting here. It has something to do with eBay.

It appears to be related to receiving eBay funds, but don't know that 100%

What I do know is I don't get the "Your transfer is delayed" with red exclaimation point on any of my PayPal accounts NOT linked in any way to eBay. One of those account is getting it through a CC funding source, and the other I get paid by vendors via direct invoice.

Only my "eBay" PP's are the ones getting this message. It started maybe a couple months ago.

So maybe not linked eBay accounts to Paypal and sending a direct invoice for payment would solve the issue?

^^sounds like a coding error to me.

Maybe the coder was working on a part of Paypal dealing with 21 day holds prior. Who knows. Hope you get your money.

I would say no need to stop transferring, most of us that are getting this message are still getting transfers, they just seem to be delayed the amount of time that PayPal states. I have had this probably 10-15 times now on every transfer I have done in the last two months, and all transfers have gone through just with the delay as stated. I would say at this point, it is just a quirk we have wait out and see if it disappears, but for the mean time, I would think you are OK to proceed with your normal procedures, just plan on the delay if you get it.
