How long is wise to wait until I start accepting payments via PayPal

I read about the eBay you have to wait until you start accepting payments.
Can you do the same thing with PayPal?
What's a reasonable time period to wait between making the account, adding phone number etc.
And then start accepting payments
Should it be at least a week between these?

For PP, I accept payments right away - in fact, I like to accept payments on PP well before using it for eb...

I'm not sure which country based account you are going to use.
But accepting payments is really not a big deal. Even people who just opened a paypal for the sole reason of taking a payment do this .

It becomes a problem if the transaction is fraudulent or you are "growing" too fast.

Have you had the chance to read the eBay Stealth yet btw? Plenty of good info in the book

You can start accepting payments right after you verified everything... Just don't accept high value payments ie. anything $100 and take it slow, 3 days in between after you pass 3mo. Think of your account as a Virgin...

I am also starting payments asap. Just not too much of them. Make it very slowly. And there shouldnt be problem. Something slow, then change account to another one etc
