Correct - They were paid 5 minutes ago.
The fee payment page defaulted to Paypal balance just as it's always done. Same page is used to invoice money out but I haven't tried that yet. |

Perfect. More good news - and on a somewhat (less than 90 day old) new acct. At least for the time being that is. Like we were saying - either the update hasn't quite hit yet, or we should all mostly be in the clear. The next few days should tell.
But at least one more day to buy labels without a workaround lol |

The account I referenced is 2+ years old, lol.
2nd unverified account I checked this morning was permanently limited last night. |

Oh darn. Just as I was getting my hopes up lol. I guess read the post wrong.
I suppose the unverified one to get canned, one could expect may happen. If the worst they're doing is cracking down on unverified accts, that's no big deal. So still good news about the older acct still being good to pay fees. |

As far as I have seen there have been no changes to PP. I am thinking that the update has not hit yet, or maybe it really has been blown out of proportion and it is more of a minor update. Either way stealth will live on, many work arounds already in play. |

| I do not even see any difference but, yesterday a lot of my ebays got banned for no reason(did not even list and i just called a few days ago). Some of my paypals all sudden have a 21 day hold again and some payments from places like seria are making me manually confirm now. |

| hmmm good theory. It could be if the accounts are not verifed we cannot send it. It would be good for paypal to do this, less scams would happen.
It may make it harder ,but maby we would treat out accounts even better. I know i sure as hell would instead of using some as disposable accounts. |

Never in the history of Paypal has a new feature or update been rolled out to all accounts at the same time. New registrations started feeling the effects first, and I'm guessing older accounts will be impacted later.

For what it's worth I just checked on one of my unverified accounts that's only rockin' a pre-paid card. Its still alive and well...
The account is one year and a couple days old. |

Looks more and more like this was a non event. Sounds more like a play by paypal to cover their behinds in case of a class action law suit.
And not a word from the smartguy who started this thread.

I just created a new PP account, unverified, and i sent 10$ from an UNVERIFIED Internationale account on it. payment for goods. This is the highest risk I can know for PayPal. they only added a 21 days hold on the payment, nothing more. |

I am having an excellent time with this new paypal april 19th update.........i cant send any money around.......even with ssn attached and the account being as old as year 2000-2003......with tons and transaction history.....i heard that they did away with the old transaction history.......so they basically did a possible reset on velocity limits..........oh paypal just keeps getting better and better... |

I know what you're saying. But let's keep in mind that at one point, there were talks of this update being the end of stealth as we know it. So to me, if that's the worst of this update that all of us feared so much - this is a win. |

everytime I am about to make a big move......i am always a little too late.......-_-
would like to watch the new avengers movie.....but i am a very anti-social person.......i dont want to be in a crowded theater with people around me.
I want the theater to be empty and I can have like two seats on both sides to place tons and tons of food.......and watch the movie in peace and quiet.
you would think i can get a ticket in the early morning hours to watch the movie.....but no apparently people don't have day jobs.....theaters are packed during the week day also -_-.....
now that I am older....every little thing bothers me in this life.......if 1 little small spec is off I get really really irritated.....I want everything to be done in a specific manner....... |

Well in the PP memo it did have that limp word 'generally' so perhaps PP is like it has always been with the 'pick and chose' way of limiting you.
Plus it's a big deal to limit thousands of accts across the USA. Maybe a fraction of a percent actually read the memo. There are just plain old folk sending money back and forth for thousands of legit reasons. PP would have to hire a mountain of people to deal with it all. |
