Default Longshot/wishful thinking

This might sound crazy or weird but what if most pay p al users stealthers and
non-stealthers decided to email pa y p al

and tell them how much we dislike the "claim it" feature and how we don't feel

comfortable adding our ssn just to make a payment.

Do you think they would listen then and do away with the feature?

Well first...I wouldn't join you in your protest.

Second, it wouldn't mean **** to PayPal.

I expect they already get a lot of people telling them that

I don’t see it going away though

Paypal would send a form email response telling all of you to take it up with the government

What I've seen is big companies like PayPal are deaf to customer complaints, even when they make a massive stink about it on social media and the like.

Take Costco & their beloved polish dog for example.

After many years of having that $1.50 polish + fountain drink at their food court, Costco made the decision to discontinue it.

The Internet (and media) went nuts over it. It was estimated that hundreds of thousands, if not a million or more contacted Costco to protest the decision.

Costco did nothing. In fact, their PR guy told people "sorry, we are not going to change our mind about it".

This is the norm for corporate America. Get used to it.

Based on my own experience with PP, all my emails seem to go straight to the deleted folder anyway...
